Reasons to come and visit us…

In an enchanting Heidi-esque valley in the Haute (but gently rolling) Pyrenees is a long low stone cattle stable tucked into the hills, with a barn attached. Each superbe struture houses two guest bedrooms from the loftiest beam to the chunkiest floor, interiors are lined with thick wide planks of cedar, chestnut, acacia and oak; rustic-chic fabrics and sleek white bathrooms fittings add to the spare, but never spartan, charm. Cathy is a champion skier and can ski-guide you, Pierre is an inspired chef of regional dinner serve at the big table. Sports and thermal spas abound, the scenary makes the heart sing.

Dear Cathy § Pierre,
Thank you so much for making our stay in the Baronnies, Pyrenees, at La Ferme du Buret so confortable and interresting. We have enjoyed our few days here immensely. Pierre’s dinners were delicious! and Cathy’s suggested routes and sights were very helpful and in English! I will learn French before our next trip! We look forward to telling our friends about La Ferme.

We expected quiet Pyrenees nature. We found even more. We found nice, friendly and great people. We take a piece of everything home. Thank you very much Cathy and Pierre.
